Why this site exists
Shopping pages are good at showing what is available. They are less useful at explaining which details matter, what tradeoffs come with a feature, and when the best decision is to buy nothing.
Our guides begin with an everyday problem and work outward. A product earns attention only when it has a clear job, fits a specific kind of reader, and is easier to live with than the alternatives.
What we publish
- — Decision guides that explain what to measure, compare, and skip.
- — Product research notes with a clear best-for statement and limitations.
- — Short collections organized around a use case, budget, room, or trip.
